Hi Friends & Family!

We're writing to tell you about our underwear and cancers down there! As you can see, we've joined BC Cancer Foundation's Underwear Affair - a 10K run / 5K walk to uncover cures for cancers below the waist, like prostate, colon, and ovarian cancer, among others. We will be gathering on the streets of Vancouver this summer in the biggest Affair this town has ever seen!

Our team name is Up Yer Kilt in honour of Helen Jolly, our best friend Carole's mom, who spent the last year undergoing a strenuous course of treatment for ovarian cancer with unmatched grace and strength. We're happy to report that she is now cancer free! As you can tell by our team name, we are celebrating their Scottish heritage and will be wearing plaid underwear and accessories while running through Vancouver.

Of course, there are so many other friends and family members who have struggled with these kinds of cancers, and this is also in honour of all of those incredible people!

What can you do to help? You can donate to our cause please! Do not be shy - it is about giving these devastating cancers some exposure and shedding some light on their cures. So please help us in our effort to raise money for care and research for cancers "down there!" Every little bit counts.
