We are the Pirates of the Nether Regions and we are running the Underwear Affair to fight cancers below the waist.
Our goal started at $10,000 just a few short months ago, but continues to skyrocket higher as our team members make their personal goals higher.
Too many of us have been deepy effected by Cancer's below the waist; we've had mothers, brothers, fathers, sisters, grandparents, and countless friends contract these diseases.
I myself have lost my father to prostate cancer, and my mother just won her battle with advanced stage Ovarian cancer.
Cancer changes us all of us, It devastates our lives and hurts the people that we love the most. We have had enough.
Our team is varied, we range in age from 14 to 60+ and yet we are all going to gather together as a team on July 9th and run 10km or walk 5km in Pirate-themed Underwear to raise money a whole lot of money for Cancer Research!
A good majority of us have never run before, but we are not going to let that stop us!
Friends of friends, and strangers alike, join us and run the 10km or walk the 5km in your pirate best
Join Captain Kate, Pirate's Booty, a Mermaid, a Parrot.... and any other creative costumes you can come up with!
